Are Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks, Fruit ‘n Yogurt^™ Snacks and Fruit Rolls packages recyclable?

All Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks, Fruit ‘n Yogurt ™ Snacks and Fruit Rolls boxes are recyclable. However, the pouches that hold the snacks are not.

What do you use to colour your products?

Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks and Fruit Rolls are made with natural colours.

Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks are made with artificial colours.

All the colours we use in the production of our products are approved by CFIA for use in food.

Do your products contain artificial flavours?

We produce Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks and Fruit Rolls with natural flavours.

Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks are made with both natural and artificial flavours.

What is the source of gelatin in Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks?

We use both pork and beef gelatin in the production of Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks.

Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt™ Snacks and Fruit Rolls do not contain gelatin.

Do you have any vegan products?

Yes, Welch’s^® Fruit Rolls are vegan.

I noticed Carnauba Wax in the Welch’s^® Fruit Snacks and Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt Snacks ingredient panel. What is this?

Carnauba wax also called Brazil wax and palm wax, is a wax from the leaves of the palm Copernicia prunifera (Synonym: Copernicia cerifera), a plant native to and grown only in the northeastern Brazilian states of Piauí, Ceará, Maranhão, Bahia, and Rio Grande do Norte.

I noticed Confectioner’s Glaze (Lac-Resin) in the Welch’s^® Fruit ‘n Yogurt Snacks ingredient panel, what is this?

Confectioner’s Glaze is a food grade edible coating that has been used for many years to enhance product appearance. It provides a high gloss surface finish and resistance to external influences such as humidity and temperature that could negatively affect product quality.
